Office 2021 and Office LTSC 2021 — including the 2021 versions of Project and Visio — reached end of support on October 13, 2026. Microsoft no longer ships security updates, non-security fixes, or assisted support for these versions, though the apps continue to run. If your business still has Office 2021 seats, the practical paths are a Microsoft 365 subscription, which is updated continuously, or the perpetual Office LTSC 2024 for devices that must stay off the cloud. Review what’s actually installed across your PCs before renewal season, and confirm in your quote which route is priced in.
